This 18 hour course is open to licensed massage and physical therapists and will give participants a new perspective and experience of myofascial release.
Format includes lecture, demonstration, interpersonal work and hands-on practice.
Emphasis will be on supporting students to deepen their palpative and technical skills, as well as understanding important treatment principles and current explanatory models for the efficacy of myofascial release.
A biopsychosocial and nervous system-mediated framework are highlighted in place of energetic conjecture and narrow tissue-based explanations - supporting the therapist to develop their inherent intuitive capabilities and build client rapport and empowerment.
Students can expect to complete the workshop with the tools to confidently integrate the work into their current practice, as well as having had the experience of myofascial release changing them personally.
All inclusive resort experience includes 4 days/5 nights accommodations, all meals, daily yoga classes, transportation to and from the airport*, and all workshop content and activities. Class times will allow for optional off-site adventures and excursions.

WHAT THERAPISTS ARE SAYING:
"The format was great, lots of hands on time to practice and receive. It was evidence based, it felt like were reinforcing what has been discovered and not just randomly trying things - thanks! You worked well as a team."
Barb Tyers, RMT
"This course was exactly what I needed. I feel more confident as a therapist and I learned new techniques to integrate into my practice that I'm excited about. Thank you for reminding me how important it is to come to mind and body as a therapist and help the client make the connection. You two are so approachable and helpful and have so much to give as teachers."
Kuljeet Narwal, RMT
"I can feel the difference in my body from techniques learned and reinforced. Class size allowed great interaction between students and instructors and collaboration between all present. I loved the connection of teaching principles and techniques. I hope to be back in two years for second level! Thank you!"
Tina Van Steen, RMT
