Title : Somatic Yoga
Time / Day : Tuesdays 9am - 10:15am (June 8 - June 29)
Teacher description: Kelsey has been teaching yoga for 9 years, and is most influenced by her teachers (Allison Dennis and Annie Piper) and her training in Somatic Experiencing™. Her teaching style weaves vinyasa, Somatic Experiencing™ techniques, and mindfulness.This flowing vinyasa-style class incorporates mindful movement and regulation tools to encourage body awareness, grounding, and presence. We move at a medium pace, gently noticing body sensations and connecting with ourselves. All levels are welcome, though having an understanding of the foundations of yoga will be helpful.
Join in for these 4 weeks before she is off to Chicago to get her Masters in Mental Health Counseling!
You can also set up a Somatic Awareness session with Kelsey - a 1:1 support space for managing stress and anxiety. You’ll foster greater awareness of your stress response patterns and nervous system through a combination of Somatic Experiencing™ techniques, mindfulness, and gentle movement.
